MADAME DOUBTFIRE: VOCABULARY CHAPTERS 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 Y 12

CHAPTERS 7 AND 8:

Stage: platform used to perform on.
Appointment: a meeting at a particular time and place.
Trust: have confidence in someone.
Jealous: envious.
Lying: not telling the truth.
Handwriting: a person's style of writing.
Loud: very audible.


CHAPTERS 9 AND 10:

Fastener: a device to close something.
Childish: appropriate for a child, immature.
Hedgehogs: small animals with spikes.
Naked: without clothes.
On time: punctually.


CHAPTERS 11 AND 12:

Arguing: fighting.
Selfish: egocentric.
Smelly: smelling bad.
Knock: a bang at a door or window to attract attention.
Brave: showing courage or valour.
Sheets: pieces of cloth used on the bed.
Sharp: something that can easily cut.
